Winston Launch

Because we’re strong believers in finding the right financial protection for everyone, in 2023 we launched Winston, our Whole of Life insurance offering for the over 50s.
Next Gen Customer Experience
March 2023
Just three months after Polly & Tom became their own bespoke brands we rolled out our new mobile apps, giving our customers access to a personalised dashboard where they can easily manage their policy documents.
iptiQ Partnership
February 2023
A year after we made the decision to turn the Polly and Tom brands into their own standalone products, we partnered with iptiQ to build out and launch our very own digital-first life insurance products.
Anorak Acquisition
January 2023
Our acquisition of innovative Insurtech, Anorak, marked the beginning of a new era for Candid & Clark. Bringing with them a platform for scalable future growth, Anorak’s experience as a digitally led brand meant we could diversify our portfolio while enhancing the end to end experience for our customers.
The Ruth Strauss Foundation Partnership
January 2023
On a mission to build partnerships that align with our values, we teamed up with the Ruth Strauss Foundation, finding new ways to help support families dealing with the unexpected loss of a parent.
Clark Acquisition
March 2022
Following our acquisition in 2016, the Finanzen Group was taken over by Clark – and Candid followed suit. Both Clark and Candid had experienced triple digit growth over the previous five years, and with a collective revenue of more than €150M and a closely aligned ethos, it was a partnership that just made sense.
Rapid Expansion

Following a period of rapid growth, we outgrew our Clifton office and opened our new Candid HQ at 920 Aztec West.
Becoming Candid
August 2019
As we evolved and began to carve out our own niche as a specialist marketing partner, and following the successful acquisition of Tom and Polly, we needed a brand that better represented our ethos and culture. As a result, Candid was born.
Finanzen Acquisition
2016
After 3 years of rapid growth, during which time we provided lead generation services to 3000+ financial advisors across more than 10 products, we were approached by Finanzen for a proposed acquisition – a partnership that enabled us to strengthen our global reach.
E-finity Leads Founded
2013
As price comparison grew in popularity, our founder, Matt Edwards, built E-finity with a goal of making digital marketing and web-based customer acquisition more accessible, while providing financial advice for customers looking to navigate complex products in a shifting marketplace.
